The IMO RFC3-3S is a compact and dependable single-phase RFI filter designed to minimise conducted electromagnetic interference generated by variable speed drives and other industrial power electronics. Manufactured by IMO Precision Controls, it helps machinery achieve improved EMC performance while supporting compliance with industrial electromagnetic compatibility standards.
Designed for use with compatible IMO iDrive2 variable speed drives, the RFC3-3S mounts directly beneath the inverter and connects using flying leads. This simple installation helps reduce electrical noise that could otherwise interfere with PLCs, sensors, communication equipment and other sensitive automation devices.
With a 3 A current rating, single-phase 200 to 230 V AC operation and compliance with EN 61800-3 Category C3 for industrial environments, the RFC3-3S is ideal for compact machinery, OEM equipment and small motor control applications.
Key Advantages
Compact RFI filter designed for inverter drive EMC compliance.
3 A current rating for compact drive applications.
Single-phase 200 to 230 V AC operation.
Complies with EN 61800-3 Category C3 industrial EMC requirements.
Reduces conducted electrical interference from inverter drives.
Compact construction for industrial control panels.
Reliable EMC Filtering for Compact Drive Systems
Variable speed drives generate high frequency switching noise during normal operation. The IMO RFC3-3S suppresses conducted emissions before they reach the mains supply, helping improve system reliability and reducing interference with nearby automation equipment.
Its compact design and direct mounting arrangement make it particularly suitable for OEM machinery, industrial control panels and compact automation systems where EMC performance is essential.
The RFC3-3S reduces conducted electrical interference generated by compatible single-phase variable speed drives, helping improve EMC performance.
What current rating does the RFC3-3S support?
The filter has a continuous current rating of 3 A.
Which drives is the RFC3-3S compatible with?
It is designed for compatible IMO iDrive2 single-phase inverter drives, including 0.4 kW and 0.75 kW models.
What supply voltage is supported?
The RFC3-3S is designed for single-phase 200 to 230 V AC installations.
How is the filter installed?
The filter mounts beneath the compatible inverter and connects using flying leads to the mains input terminals.
