The Unitronics V200-19-RS4-X is an isolated RS232/RS485 communication module designed to add an additional serial communication port to compatible Unitronics Vision PLC and HMI controllers. As part of the Unitronics V200 communication module series, it enables reliable serial networking, device integration and industrial communications while providing galvanic isolation for improved protection against electrical noise and ground loops.
The module installs directly into compatible Vision controllers and provides an additional COM 3 serial communication port. Through onboard jumper configuration, users can select either RS232 or RS485 communication standards, allowing flexible integration with HMIs, PLCs, drives, barcode readers, printers, instrumentation and industrial automation equipment.
Unlike the standard V200-19-RS4 version, the V200-19-RS4-X features electrical isolation, helping protect connected equipment and ensuring reliable communications in electrically noisy industrial environments. This makes it an ideal solution for demanding automation, manufacturing and process control applications.
