Why Choose the ABB S803P-C125 High-Performance Circuit Breaker?
The ABB 2CCG001234R0001, commercially designated S803P-C125, is a premium three-pole high-performance miniature circuit breaker (MCB) from the ABB System pro M compact S800P series. Designed for demanding commercial and industrial installations, it delivers dependable overload and short-circuit protection where exceptionally high fault-breaking capacity is required. It features a C tripping characteristic, 125 A rated current and an ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity of up to 50 kA.
The S803P-C125 is engineered for three-phase power distribution circuits supplying lighting systems, transformers, industrial machinery, switchboards and control panels. Its C-curve magnetic trip accommodates moderate inrush currents whilst providing rapid disconnection during fault conditions, making it ideal for modern industrial and commercial electrical installations.
Manufactured in Switzerland and compliant with IEC/EN 60947-2, the breaker combines compact DIN rail installation with ABB's proven S800P technology, providing high selectivity and outstanding protection where conventional miniature circuit breakers are insufficient.
Key Advantages
High-performance overload and short-circuit protection.
125 A rated current.
Three-pole protection for industrial AC systems.
C-curve tripping characteristic for moderate inrush current loads.
Ultimate breaking capacity up to 50 kA.
Excellent selectivity with downstream protection devices.
Compact DIN rail mounting.
Suitable for demanding commercial and industrial applications.
The ABB S803P-C125 has been developed for electrical systems where prospective short-circuit currents exceed the capabilities of conventional miniature circuit breakers. Its exceptionally high breaking capacity provides reliable protection for cables, switchgear and connected equipment whilst maintaining excellent selectivity with downstream devices.
Its thermal overload mechanism protects against sustained overcurrents, while the magnetic trip rapidly disconnects severe fault currents. The C-curve characteristic allows normal energisation of transformers, lighting circuits and industrial equipment without unnecessary nuisance tripping.
