The ABB F202 A-100/0.03 AP-R is a high-performance 2-pole residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) designed to protect people and electrical installations against earth leakage faults. Part of the proven ABB System pro M compact® F200 series, it provides sensitive residual current protection for high-current single-phase circuits in commercial, industrial and building-services applications.
Featuring Type A residual current detection, the F202 A-100/0.03 AP-R responds to both sinusoidal AC and pulsating DC residual currents. This makes it suitable for modern installations containing electronic equipment, switched-mode power supplies, appliance controls and other loads capable of producing pulsating DC earth leakage.
ABB's AP-R short-time delayed technology improves resistance to unwanted tripping caused by transient leakage currents, switching events and electrical disturbances. With a 100 A rated current and 30 mA residual current sensitivity, this RCCB offers an effective balance between personal protection and continuity of service.
The ABB F202 A-100/0.03 AP-R monitors the current flowing through the line and neutral conductors. When it detects an imbalance caused by current leaking to earth, it rapidly disconnects the circuit to reduce the risk of electric shock, fire and damage to electrical equipment.
Its AP-R operating characteristic introduces a short intentional delay and enhanced resistance to impulse currents. This helps prevent unnecessary disconnection during transient events while retaining sensitive 30 mA protection.
