The Wöhner 31441 is a compact, busbar-mounted three-pole D-fuse base designed for the Wöhner 60Classic busbar system. Featuring an E27 screw-in gauge ring arrangement and a space-saving width of 42 mm, it provides reliable fuse mounting and branch-circuit protection within industrial control panels, distribution boards and machinery.
Rated at 25 A and 500 V AC/DC, the Wöhner 31441 is suitable for use with D-type fuse links manufactured in accordance with IEC and HD 60269-3. When correctly protected by suitable fuse links, the unit offers a short-circuit withstand rating of up to 50 kA, supporting dependable operation in demanding industrial electrical installations.
The fuse base mounts directly onto 60 mm busbar systems and is compatible with busbars measuring 12, 15, 20, 25 or 30 mm wide in 5 mm or 10 mm thicknesses, as well as Wöhner section busbars. Silver-plated copper contact plates support efficient electrical conductivity, while cage-clamp terminals provide secure cable connections for copper conductors up to 25 mm².
The Wöhner 31441 enables three protected outgoing branch circuits to be installed directly onto a 60 mm busbar system without requiring separate panel-mounted fuse bases and extensive interconnecting wiring. Direct busbar contact through silver-plated copper plates supports low-resistance current transfer and helps simplify the construction of compact distribution assemblies.
The unit is intended for branch circuits within the busbar system and must not be used as an incoming feeder for the busbar assembly. A clearance of at least 10 mm must be maintained above the fuse base so that it can be removed safely from the busbar system. The terminals are intended for copper conductors and are not suitable for aluminium cables.
