The Wöhner 31442 is a robust three-pole D-fuse base designed for direct mounting onto the Wöhner 60Classic busbar system. Designed for E33 (DIII) screw-in gauge rings, this 57 mm wide fuse base provides dependable branch-circuit protection in industrial distribution boards, switchgear and machine control panels. It is intended for use with D-type fuse links manufactured in accordance with IEC 60269-1 and IEC 60269-3.
With a rated current of 63 A and a 500 V AC/DC rating, the Wöhner 31442 is engineered for demanding industrial installations. When protected by suitable gG fuse links, the assembly provides a short-circuit withstand rating of up to 50 kA, making it suitable for high-performance electrical distribution systems.
The fuse base mounts directly onto busbars measuring 12, 15, 20, 25 or 30 mm wide with either 5 mm or 10 mm thicknesses, including compatible section busbars. Silver-plated copper contacts ensure excellent conductivity, while the durable halogen-free housing delivers long service life in demanding industrial environments.
The Wöhner 31442 provides a simple and reliable method of installing three protected outgoing circuits directly onto a 60 mm busbar system. By mounting directly onto the busbar, it reduces wiring complexity while maintaining excellent electrical performance through silver-plated copper contacts.
The unit is intended for branch circuits within the busbar assembly and is not approved for use as the incoming feeder. A minimum clearance of 10 mm should be maintained above the fuse base to allow safe removal from the busbar. The terminals are intended for copper conductors only and are not suitable for aluminium cables.
