The Wöhner 32742 is a robust and versatile 630 A busbar adapter designed for mounting moulded-case circuit breakers and other compatible switching devices within industrial power distribution systems. Part of the advanced Wöhner EQUES 185Power system, this universal adapter provides a dependable connection between electrical equipment and high-current busbars.
The adapter supports devices with a phase spacing of 43–46 mm and features a top-mounted flat clamp connection. Its universal configuration gives panel builders and OEM manufacturers greater flexibility when integrating compatible circuit breakers from leading manufacturers into switchboards, distribution panels and motor control centres.
With an IEC rated current of 630 A, an 800 V AC rated operating voltage and compatibility with busbars from 30 × 10 mm to 120 × 10 mm, the Wöhner 32742 is suitable for demanding low-voltage power distribution applications. The adapter can also be installed over a busbar support in systems with or without a CrossLink® touch-safe protection cover.
Busbar adapters provide a secure mechanical and electrical interface between switching devices and power distribution busbars. The Wöhner 32742 allows compatible moulded-case circuit breakers to be installed directly onto a 185 mm busbar system, helping reduce wiring requirements and simplify switchboard construction.
