The Mersen K1-2PG275-M, product code 44120201, is a premium Type 1+2 Surge Protection Device (SPD) designed to protect single-phase TT (1Ph+N) electrical installations against lightning strikes and transient overvoltages. As part of the Mersen Surge-Trap® K1 Series, it combines coordinated line-to-neutral (L-N) and neutral-to-earth (N-PE) protection in a compact, pluggable two-pole assembly with an integrated remote signalling microswitch for continuous status monitoring.
Designed for installation at the main distribution board, the K1-2PG275-M features a 1+1 protection configuration, a maximum continuous operating voltage (Uc) of 275 V AC, and replaceable protection cartridges for fast maintenance. The built-in remote contact enables connection to building management systems (BMS), PLCs or alarm systems, allowing maintenance teams to receive immediate notification when replacement is required.
Offering a 12.5 kA lightning impulse current (Iimp), 50 kA maximum discharge current (Imax), 20 kA nominal discharge current (In) and a voltage protection level (Up ≤1.5 kV), the K1-2PG275-M provides reliable protection for commercial, industrial and infrastructure installations while complying with IEC 61643-11.
