The IMO B6CR1N32-30-A is a compact and reliable Residual Current Circuit Breaker with Overcurrent Protection (RCBO) designed to protect electrical circuits against earth leakage, overload and short-circuit faults. Combining residual current and overcurrent protection within one device helps simplify installation and conserve valuable space inside consumer units, distribution boards and electrical control panels.
As part of the IMO B6 circuit protection range, this RCBO incorporates Type A residual current detection. It can detect sinusoidal AC and pulsating DC residual currents, making it suitable for modern installations containing electronic equipment, LED drivers, appliances and switched-mode power supplies.
With a rated current of 32 A, a residual operating current of 30 mA and a Type C tripping characteristic, the B6CR1N32-30-A is suitable for general power, socket outlet, lighting and equipment circuits that may experience moderate starting currents. Its DIN rail mounting format enables straightforward integration into new installations and replacement projects.
The IMO B6CR1N32-30-A continuously monitors the connected circuit for excessive current and current leaking to earth. When a qualifying overload, short circuit or residual current fault occurs, the RCBO disconnects the supply rapidly to help reduce the risk of electric shock, equipment damage and electrical fires.
Type A protection is particularly valuable in contemporary installations because many electronic devices can produce pulsating DC leakage currents.
