Why Choose the Lovato DMG611R3000 Digital Multimeter?
The Lovato DMG611R3000 is an expandable flush-mounted digital multimeter and electrical network analyser designed for accurate monitoring of high-current three-phase electrical systems. Supplied with three flexible Rogowski coils, it provides a convenient solution for measuring currents up to 3000 A without installing conventional split-core or wound-primary current transformers.
The instrument combines a clear 72 × 46 mm backlit icon LCD with True RMS measurement of voltage, current, active power, reactive power, apparent power, frequency, power factor and energy. Its flexible current sensors are particularly useful in crowded switchboards, busbar systems and retrofit installations where space around conductors is limited.
Built-in RS485 communication and a front optical port support connection to energy-management software, PLCs, SCADA platforms and building-management systems. The expandable design also accepts optional Lovato EXP modules, allowing additional communication interfaces, digital inputs and output functions to be added as monitoring requirements develop.

Flexible High-Current Monitoring with Rogowski Coils
Rogowski coils provide a flexible and non-intrusive method of measuring alternating current. Their lightweight loop construction allows them to be installed around large conductors and busbars without disconnecting or cutting the primary cable, making the DMG611R3000 especially valuable for retrofit projects and densely populated electrical panels.
The meter converts the signals from the included coils into detailed electrical measurements and communicates the results through its built-in RS485 interface. This supports continuous energy monitoring, load analysis, preventive maintenance and remote supervision across industrial and commercial power-distribution systems.
Typical Applications
High-current industrial switchboards.
Main power distribution panels.
Large motor control centres.
Busbar and feeder monitoring.
Generator and transformer installations.
Data centres and critical infrastructure.
Commercial building energy management.
Retrofit electrical monitoring projects.
