The Mersen HP10M25 is a compact, high-performance gPV photovoltaic fuse link engineered specifically to protect solar PV string circuits against ground faults, line faults and damaging overcurrents. As part of the proven Mersen HelioProtection® HP10M series, it is designed for reliable operation in grid-connected and off-grid photovoltaic systems.
Rated at 25 A and 1000 V DC, the HP10M25 provides full-range photovoltaic protection under the distinctive low fault-current conditions produced by solar arrays. Its minimum breaking-current capability of approximately 1.35 times the rated current enables safe circuit interruption while helping protect PV modules, wiring, connectors, combiner boxes and inverter inputs.
The HP10M25 features a compact 10.4 × 38.1 mm cylindrical body with tin-plated copper ferrule terminals for clip mounting. Its enhanced construction withstands continuous temperature and current cycling, supporting long service life in demanding residential, commercial, industrial and utility-scale photovoltaic installations.
Photovoltaic arrays continue generating DC current whenever sufficient light is available, including during certain electrical fault conditions. Specialist gPV fuses are therefore required to interrupt low-level reverse currents and high short-circuit currents before they damage modules, cables, connectors or connected equipment.
