The Mersen NH1GS69V125PV (Item No. X322365) is a Protistor® NH Size 1 high-speed semiconductor fuse designed to provide full-range protection for modern power electronic equipment. Developed for the protection of IGBTs, thyristors, diodes and other semiconductor devices, it combines excellent current-limiting performance with low energy let-through to minimise damage during fault conditions.
Manufactured in the standard NH Size 1 format, the fuse features plain blade terminals and a double visual indicator for rapid identification of fuse operation. Pure silver fuse elements embedded in solidified silica sand provide exceptional interrupting performance and long service life in demanding industrial environments.
With a 125 A current rating, 690 V AC IEC / 700 V AC UL voltage rating and a gS operating characteristic, the NH1GS69V125PV offers both semiconductor and cable protection in suitable applications, making it ideal for variable speed drives, industrial inverters, UPS systems and power conversion equipment.
Unlike conventional aR semiconductor fuses, the gS operating characteristic provides both high-speed semiconductor protection and full-range overcurrent protection in suitable circuits. This can simplify protection design by protecting both sensitive power electronic devices and associated conductors with a single fuse where permitted by the equipment manufacturer.
