The Mersen USFM10M is a compact UltraSafe™ three-pole fuse module with an integrated microswitch auxiliary contact, designed to provide dependable overcurrent protection for industrial motor control, machinery and automation systems. Designed for 10 × 38 mm midget fuses rated up to 30 A, it combines reliable circuit protection with enhanced machine safety and control integration.
Part of the Mersen UltraSafe USFM Series, the USFM10M incorporates a built-in microswitch that can be wired to an adjacent IEC contactor. When the fuse extractor handle is opened, the microswitch causes the contactor to drop out before fuse disconnection, helping improve operator safety during maintenance.
Rated for 600 V AC and 600 V DC, the USFM10M features IP20 finger-safe protection, pressure plate terminals, padlocking capability and tool-free DIN rail removal. Its compact 45 mm footprint makes it ideal for OEM machinery, industrial control panels and motor protection applications where panel space is limited.
The Mersen USFM10M provides secure mounting for three midget fuses while incorporating a built-in microswitch that enhances machine safety during fuse replacement. When correctly wired to a contactor, the microswitch interrupts the load before the fuse is disconnected, reducing the possibility of opening the holder under load.
