This timer provides a delay-on-operate function across selectable ranges from 0.1 s to 100 h. When the supply voltage is applied, the timing period begins; after the preset delay has elapsed, the two changeover output contacts switch and remain operated until the supply is removed.
With a 24–240 V AC or 24 V DC supply, a 5 A DPDT relay output and a compact mini DIN-rail housing, the DAA71DM24 is suitable for delayed starting, staged equipment operation, alarm timing and general industrial control sequences.
On-delay timer relays postpone an output change for a preset period after power is applied. The Carlo Gavazzi DAA71DM24 begins timing when energised and transfers both changeover contacts once the selected delay expires, allowing downstream equipment to start in a controlled sequence.
