The Carlo Gavazzi DBA02CM24 is a compact and reliable delay-on-release timer relay designed for timed switching in industrial automation, machinery and electrical control systems. As part of the Carlo Gavazzi DBA02 timer series, it combines an adjustable delay function with a versatile multi-voltage power supply and a robust SPDT relay output.
This timer energises its output relay when the trigger contact closes and begins the selected delay period when the trigger contact opens. The relay releases when the delay expires, enabling controlled shutdown sequences, run-on functions and delayed disconnection of connected equipment.
With seven selectable timing ranges covering 0.1 s to 100 h, a 24 V DC or 24–240 V AC supply and an 8 A SPDT relay output, the DBA02CM24 provides flexible control for a wide variety of applications. Its slim DIN-rail housing is well suited to installation inside industrial control panels.
Delay-on-release timers maintain an energised relay output for a preset period after the control trigger is removed. This controlled delay is useful when equipment must continue operating briefly after a switch, sensor or controller changes state.
