Lovato RFN380650 three-pole thermal motor protection relay with a 4–6.5 A adjustable operating current range, class 10A tripping characteristic and direct mounting compatibility with BF09–BF38 contactors.
£69.09
The Lovato RFN380650 is a three-pole thermal motor protection relay designed to protect three-phase motors against overload conditions in industrial motor control applications. As part of the Lovato RFN38 motor protection relay range, it provides an adjustable thermal release and is designed for direct mounting on compatible Lovato BF contactors.
This relay has a class 10A tripping characteristic and provides an adjustable operating current range that allows the protection setting to be matched to the motor's rated current. The RFN380650 is a non-phase-failure and non-single-phase-sensitive version, with manual or automatic resetting for flexible integration into motor starter circuits.
With an adjustable operating current range of 4–6.5 A, the RFN380650 is designed for direct mounting on Lovato BF09–BF38 contactors. Integrated test and trip indication functions, together with 1NO + 1NC auxiliary contacts, support straightforward operation, control and fault signalling.
Thermal motor protection relays such as the Lovato RFN380650 respond to sustained overcurrent conditions that can cause excessive motor heating and premature equipment failure. Selecting a relay whose adjustment range includes the motor's nameplate rated current enables the overload protection setting to be matched to the motor.
The RFN38 range is designed for industrial motor control applications and can be mounted directly on compatible Lovato BF contactors. The RFN380650 combines adjustable thermal overload protection, auxiliary signalling contacts and manual or automatic resetting in a compact motor starter component.
