The IMO BC3P34RED-O is a robust and highly visible emergency-stop push-button actuator designed for industrial machinery, control panels and operator stations. As part of the established IMO B3 22 mm control-device range, it provides decisive manual operation of compatible safety contact blocks.
This non-illuminated actuator features a prominent 40 mm red mushroom head with a white “O” marking, a chrome-finish bezel and a maintained latching mechanism. Pressing the mushroom head latches the actuator in its operated position, while deliberate rotation releases and resets it, helping prevent unintended automatic resetting after an emergency command.
Designed for installation through a 22.5 mm panel aperture, the BC3P34RED-O provides IP67 front protection for demanding industrial environments. Its modular construction allows compatible IMO normally closed safety contact blocks and mounting components to be selected separately for the required control circuit.
Emergency-stop actuators provide a prominent manual command for stopping hazardous machine movement or interrupting a control process. Pressing the IMO BC3P34RED-O latches the mushroom head and operates compatible safety contact blocks, allowing the machine control system to initiate its designed emergency-stop response.
The actuator remains latched until it is deliberately rotated and released. Resetting the actuator should only enable the control system to be restarted through the machinery’s intended reset and start procedure; it should not initiate an automatic restart.
