The Lovato HR7XS2 is an 11-pin relay socket designed for Lovato HR703C series general-purpose industrial relays. It provides a secure interface between the plug-in relay and the fixed wiring inside industrial control panels, automation equipment and electrical assemblies.
The socket uses screw terminals for dependable conductor termination and can be fitted onto a standard 35 mm DIN rail or secured directly with screws. This installation flexibility makes it suitable for both conventional DIN-rail assemblies and equipment requiring direct surface mounting.
With a rated insulation voltage of 250 V and a rated impulse withstand voltage of 4 kV, the HR7XS2 provides a robust mounting solution for compatible relays. It accepts conductors from 0.5–2.5 mm² and allows plug-in relays to be replaced without disturbing the panel wiring.
Key Advantages
Purpose-designed for Lovato HR703C series relays.
11-pin socket configuration for compatible three-changeover-contact relays.
Secure screw-terminal wiring connections.
Mounting on a 35 mm DIN rail or directly with screws.
Allows relay replacement without disconnecting fixed conductors.
Accepts IEC conductor sizes from 0.5–2.5 mm².
Key Features
Lovato Electric HR series relay accessory.
11-pin relay socket.
Compatible with HR703C series industrial relays.
Screw-terminal connection system.
250 V rated insulation voltage.
4 kV rated impulse withstand voltage.
DIN-rail or screw fixing.
Maximum terminal tightening torque of 0.6 Nm.
Compatible with Phillips No. 1 or 4.5 mm flat-blade tools.
Practical Installation for Plug-In Industrial Relays
A relay socket separates the replaceable relay from the permanent panel wiring. Conductors terminate at the HR7XS2 screw terminals, while the compatible HR703C relay plugs into the socket’s 11-pin interface, simplifying installation, inspection and maintenance.
DIN-rail mounting supports organised panel construction alongside other control components, while screw fixing provides an alternative where rail mounting is unsuitable. Correct conductor preparation and adherence to the specified terminal torque help maintain secure electrical connections.
Typical Applications
Industrial control and automation panels.
Machine control circuits.
PLC interface and signal switching assemblies.
Pump, fan and conveyor controls.
Building automation systems.
Maintenance-friendly plug-in relay installations.
