The IMO RC-MCN-400 is a compact RC coil suppressor module designed to reduce voltage spikes, switching transients and electromagnetic interference generated by industrial contactor coils. Developed for use with IMO MC10 to MC74 contactors, it helps protect PLCs, relays, timers and other sensitive control equipment from coil-induced electrical disturbances.
When a contactor coil is de-energised, the collapsing magnetic field can produce a high-voltage transient. The RC-MCN-400 absorbs and limits this transient, helping improve control-circuit stability, reduce electrical noise and extend the service life of connected switching and automation components.
Suitable for 230–415 V AC at 50/60 Hz and DC control circuits, the IMO RC-MCN-400 features a convenient front-mounted design with flying cable leads.
