The nVent HOFFMAN MPAL1208 is a lightweight and corrosion-resistant aluminium mounting plate designed for installing electrical, control and automation components inside compatible floor-standing enclosures. As part of the nVent HOFFMAN MPAL aluminium mounting plate series, it provides a durable internal mounting surface that is particularly well suited to industrial and outdoor applications where ease of machining and corrosion resistance are important.
Designed for compatible enclosures with nominal dimensions of 1200 mm high × 800 mm wide, the MPAL1208 has an actual panel size of approximately 1094 mm high × 694 mm wide. It is manufactured from 3 mm Aluminium Al Mg3, providing a strong yet relatively lightweight alternative to conventional steel mounting plates.
The MPAL1208 can be easily machined and equipped with electrical components before being fitted into the enclosure, helping reduce panel assembly time. Its aluminium construction also provides enhanced corrosion resistance, making it particularly suitable for harsh environments and outdoor enclosure installations. A compatible MPA06 fixing bracket kit is ordered separately for installation.
