The nVent HOFFMAN PFAL1185 is a heavy-duty aluminium plinth for floor-standing electrical enclosures, designed to provide additional space beneath the cabinet for unrestricted cable routing and easier installation. Part of the nVent HOFFMAN PFAL aluminium plinth series, it is specifically sized for compatible 1800 mm-wide × 500 mm-deep enclosures used in industrial control, automation and electrical distribution applications.
The PFAL1185 consists of lateral aluminium profiles with removable front and rear plates, providing convenient access to the space between the installation floor and the enclosure bottom plates. This additional space makes cable installation easier and enables cables to be routed through the plinths of bayed enclosures. The plinth also allows compatible enclosures to be secured to the floor without requiring access from inside the cabinet.
