The nVent HOFFMAN S2M10VP22 is a height-adjustable vertical motion pedestal for the SYSPEND 281-MAX HMI suspension system. Designed to position operator enclosures at a comfortable viewing and working height, it uses internal gas springs to provide smooth vertical adjustment for industrial control panels and human-machine interfaces.
The pedestal provides an overall adjustable height range of 1130–1380 mm, giving approximately 250 mm of vertical adjustment. The enclosure can be fixed at any position within this range using the integrated locking handle. The S2M10VP22 version is designed for a total supported load of 11–22 lb (5–10 kg), with the weight of the coupling, adapter, enclosure and installed components included when calculating the load.
Constructed from anodised aluminium, the S2M10VP22 incorporates separate internal routing for cables and gas springs, together with internal cable strain relief. It can connect to a range of compatible SYSPEND 281-MAX bases, joints and elbows, making it a versatile solution where operators of different heights need to reposition an HMI enclosure vertically.
Industrial operator stations often need to accommodate users of different heights or working positions. The nVent HOFFMAN S2M10VP22 provides 250 mm of gas-spring-assisted vertical movement, allowing an attached HMI enclosure to be repositioned between an overall height of 1130 and 1380 mm. Once the preferred position is reached, the locking handle fixes the pedestal securely at that height.
The pedestal is engineered as part of the modular SYSPEND 281-MAX system and can connect to compatible pedestal bases, wall joints, wall flanges, rotary bases and elbow assemblies. Internal cable separation and strain relief allow control, power and communication wiring to pass through the pedestal while remaining isolated from the gas-spring mechanism.
