The Rittal SK 3201.300 is a compact and lightweight thermoelectric enclosure cooler designed for the climate control of command panels, small electrical enclosures and localised hot spots. Using solid-state Peltier technology rather than a conventional compressor refrigeration circuit, it provides both cooling and heating functions with a compact wall-mounted design.
The unit delivers a total cooling output of 80 W at L35 L35 and up to 100 W at L35 L30, together with an 80 W heating output. Its integrated PID temperature control is factory-set to +35 °C for cooling and +5 °C for heating, helping maintain stable enclosure temperatures across changing ambient conditions.
Operating from a 24 V DC supply, the SK 3201.300 provides 45 m³/h airflow in both the internal and external circuits. The internal circuit is rated IP54 and the external circuit IP34 to IEC 60529, while the anodised aluminium construction and compact 125 × 400 × 155 mm dimensions make it ideal where installation space is limited.
Thermoelectric coolers use the Peltier effect to transfer heat from one side of a solid-state module to the other. This allows the Rittal SK 3201.300 to provide both cooling and heating without a conventional refrigerant circuit, making it particularly suitable for compact command panels, operator enclosures and applications where targeted thermal management is required.
The separate internal and external airflow circuits help transfer heat away from the enclosure while limiting direct exchange between the enclosure air and the surrounding environment.
