The Rittal SK 3237.110 is a compact TopTherm fan-and-filter unit designed for reliable forced-air ventilation of industrial electrical enclosures. Its diagonal fan technology provides high pressure stability and a more consistent airflow, while the diagonal outflow direction promotes even heat dissipation throughout the enclosure.
Operating from a 115 V AC, single-phase, 50/60 Hz supply, the SK 3237.110 delivers an unimpeded airflow of 20 m³/h at 50 Hz and 25 m³/h at 60 Hz with its chopped-fibre filter mat. This makes it well suited to control panels and automation enclosures where ambient air can be used to remove low to moderate internal heat loads.
The complete ready-to-install unit measures 116.5 × 116.5 mm, requires a 92 × 92 mm mounting cut-out and has an installation depth of 43 mm. Standard protection is IP54 with the chopped-fibre filter, while a compatible hose-proof hood can increase protection to IP56 for more demanding environments.
Fan-and-filter units provide an efficient method of removing excess heat when the ambient temperature is sufficiently below the required enclosure temperature.
