The nVent HOFFMAN UDP10075 is a robust modular polyester wall-mounted electrical enclosure designed to protect electrical, control and automation equipment in demanding industrial and outdoor environments. Part of the nVent HOFFMAN UDP/UDPT modular enclosure range, it combines high corrosion resistance with a flexible design that allows multiple enclosures to be combined where larger installations are required.
Manufactured from fibre-glass reinforced polyester, the UDP10075 features a modular moulded body with rear fixing and a flush-mounted plain door. The enclosure is UV resistant, self-extinguishing and halogen-free, making it particularly suitable for demanding outdoor installations, including locations exposed to direct sunlight. Its double-insulated construction according to EN 61439-1 also provides excellent electrical insulation.
With external dimensions of 1000 mm high × 750 mm wide × 320 mm deep and an IP65 protection rating, the UDP10075 provides substantial installation capacity while protecting equipment against dust and water ingress. The plain-door enclosure also provides IK10 impact resistance and incorporates a premounted handle with five locking points for secure closure.
Polyester enclosures such as the nVent HOFFMAN UDP10075 provide an effective alternative to metallic cabinets where corrosion resistance, electrical insulation and outdoor durability are important. The fibre-glass reinforced polyester construction is resistant to corrosion and UV exposure, while the IP65 and IK10 ratings provide dependable environmental and mechanical protection for installed electrical components.
The modular UDP design also provides considerable installation flexibility. Several compatible enclosures can be combined to extend the overall width or depth, while the UDP10075 can be mounted directly to a wall, attached to a pole using an EPF0600 fixing system or floor mounted using compatible UPP7532 plinth or UAF7532 and UMPS7532 DIN-base accessories. Compatible accessories also include the UID10075 inner door, URH7532 rainhood, UAV01 ventilation grid and UDE10075 depth extension kit.
