Part of the established TE Connectivity ENTRELEC ESSAILEC test block range, it provides a secure test interface for secondary current circuits used in metering, protection and electrical monitoring installations.
The CC-E-VA uses a make-before-break short-circuiting contact system engineered specifically for current-transformer applications. When a compatible plug is inserted, the circuit is automatically short-circuited before the measuring circuit is opened, and when the plug is removed the circuit closes automatically. This operating principle helps protect current-transformer secondary circuits during testing and maintenance.
Rated at 15 A and 400 V, the CC-E-VA accepts flexible conductors from 0.34–10 mm² through ring-tongue connections.
