The TE Connectivity CPDE-2 1SNA166926R1600 is a purpose-designed ESSAILEC protecting lid with electrical continuity for trip sockets. Part of the established TE Connectivity ENTRELEC ESSAILEC test block range, it protects compatible trip-circuit test sockets during normal operation while maintaining the electrical continuity required by open-contact socket arrangements.
The CPDE-2 incorporates internal contact pins and a linking bar that provide electrical continuity when the lid is fitted. This makes it more than a conventional protective lid and allows it to support ESSAILEC open-contact trip circuits while test equipment is disconnected, helping maintain the intended circuit condition between testing operations.
