Why Choose the WAGO 2002-1611 TOPJOB S 2-Conductor Fuse Terminal Block?

The WAGO 2002-1611 is a 2-conductor fuse terminal block from the TOPJOB® S 2002 Series, designed to provide convenient circuit protection and conductor termination within industrial control panels, machinery and electrical distribution systems. It combines WAGO's Push-in CAGE CLAMP® connection technology with an integrated pivoting fuse holder and end plate in a compact grey DIN rail-mounted format.

Designed for standard 5 × 20 mm miniature metric fuses, the pivoting fuse holder provides convenient access to the protective fuse while forming part of the terminal block assembly. This standard 2002-1611 version is supplied without blown-fuse indication, making it suitable for applications where straightforward fused circuit protection is required without an integrated LED status indicator.

The terminal has a nominal cross-section of 2.5 mm², accepts conductor cross-sections from 0.25 to 4 mm², and is rated at 250 V and 6.3 A according to IEC/EN 60947-7-3. Its slim 6.2 mm width and compatibility with both 35 × 7.5 mm and 35 × 15 mm DIN rails make it a space-efficient solution for protected control and distribution circuits.

Key Advantages

  • Combines fuse protection and conductor termination in one DIN rail-mounted component.
  • Integrated pivoting fuse holder provides convenient access to the installed fuse.
  • Designed for widely used 5 × 20 mm miniature metric fuses.
  • Push-in CAGE CLAMP® technology provides fast, maintenance-free conductor connection.
  • Direct insertion of suitable solid conductors and fine-stranded conductors with ferrules reduces wiring time.
  • Accepts conductor cross-sections from 0.25 to 4 mm².
  • Slim 6.2 mm terminal width supports space-efficient panel layouts.
  • Compatible with standard 35 × 7.5 mm and 35 × 15 mm DIN rails.

Integrated Fuse Protection with Push-In CAGE CLAMP® Wiring

The WAGO 2002-1611 integrates a fuse holder directly into the terminal block, allowing an individual control, signal or distribution circuit to be protected without requiring a separate panel-mounted fuse holder. The pivoting holder accepts a 5 × 20 mm fuse and provides convenient access when a fuse needs to be inspected or replaced.

WAGO's Push-in CAGE CLAMP® connection system allows suitable solid conductors and fine-stranded conductors with ferrules to be inserted directly, while other conductor types can be connected by operating the spring clamp with a suitable tool. This provides reliable spring-pressure contact while eliminating the periodic retightening associated with conventional screw-clamp terminals.

Typical Applications

  • Fused control circuits in industrial control panels.
  • PLC, automation and instrumentation wiring.
  • Machine-building electrical systems.
  • Protected auxiliary and signal circuits.
  • Electrical distribution and switchgear assemblies.
  • DIN rail-mounted circuit protection and disconnect applications.
