The CHSDS includes a 16 A Schuko socket with protective-earth connection, allowing desktop computers, laptops, printers and other suitable equipment to be powered conveniently during machine programming, diagnostics, commissioning and maintenance. The plate also provides two positions for CR...AD adapter plates, one of which is supplied as a break-out position, allowing compatible D-Sub connections to be added as required.
The enclosure is manufactured from die-cast aluminium alloy and incorporates a gasket and protective metal cover. With the cover correctly closed, the assembled CHSDS kit provides IP65 protection, making it suitable for industrial environments where the external connection interface requires protection from dust and water ingress.
