The Ilme CX04SCM is a compact male fibre optic modular insert with four seats for SC contacts, designed for high-performance optical data connections within Ilme heavy-duty connector systems. Part of the Ilme MIXO Data series, it enables fibre optic communication links to be incorporated alongside compatible power, signal, data and other modular connections within a single industrial connector assembly.
The CX04SCM occupies just one MIXO module and provides four positions for separately ordered SC fibre optic contacts. It supports compatible contacts for common multimode glass fibre and plastic optical fibre applications, allowing the fibre connection technology to be selected according to the requirements of the installation.
Manufactured from UL 94 V-0 self-extinguishing polycarbonate, the CX04SCM is designed for demanding industrial environments and provides a mechanical life of at least 500 mating cycles. When correctly installed in a suitable Ilme enclosure, the complete connector assembly can provide protection up to IP65, IP66, IP68 or IP69, depending on the enclosure selected.
