Why Choose the Lovato SCM100 31SCM100 Level Electrode?
The Lovato SCM100 31SCM100 is a robust single-pole level electrode designed for detecting electrically conductive liquids as part of an industrial liquid-level control system. With a 1000 mm electrode length, it provides extended sensing reach for tanks, boilers, reservoirs and process vessels where reliable high, low or intermediate level detection is required.
Part of the Lovato SCM probes and electrodes range, the 31SCM100 uses a stainless steel electrode bar and a threaded connection for secure installation. The probe works with compatible external level-control electronics, allowing the sensing point to be incorporated into automatic filling, emptying, pump-control and alarm systems.
The SCM100 is designed for demanding industrial installations, with a maximum operating temperature of +100 °C and maximum operating pressure of 10 bar. Its long sensing element and durable construction make it particularly suitable for applications requiring a dependable conductive level probe without mechanically moving sensing components.
Key Advantages
1000 mm single-pole electrode provides extended sensing reach.
Designed for reliable conductive liquid level detection.
Stainless steel electrode bar provides durable industrial construction.
Rated for operating temperatures up to +100 °C.
Maximum operating pressure of 10 bar.
No mechanically moving sensing components.
Suitable for filling, emptying, pump-control and liquid-level alarm systems.
Designed for use with compatible external level-control electronics.
Conductive level-control systems detect the presence of a liquid by using its electrical conductivity as part of the sensing circuit. When the liquid reaches the installed SCM100 electrode, compatible level-control electronics detect the resulting electrical condition and can operate pumps, valves, contactors or alarms according to the required control function.
With its 1000 mm stainless steel electrode, the Lovato SCM100 is particularly useful where the required sensing point is located deep inside a tank or vessel. Multiple sensing points can also form part of a suitable level-control arrangement for minimum, maximum, filling, emptying or alarm functions.
Typical Applications
Industrial liquid storage tanks.
Boiler level detection systems.
Water tanks and reservoirs.
Automatic pump filling systems.
Automatic tank emptying systems.
High and low liquid-level detection.
