The FD 2099 family uses a rugged metal housing with a single M20 × 1.5 threaded conduit entry. Its 1NO+2NC slow-action contact block is controlled by the lock mechanism and incorporates positive-opening safety contacts for dependable integration into machine safety circuits.
The F7 configuration is supplied with a separate actuator from Pizzato's FD/FP/FS actuator family, while the switch provides IP67 protection according to EN 60529. The FD 2099 operating principle is designed so that the separate actuator is mounted to the movable guard while the switch body is fixed to the machine structure.
