This model features a 3 NC slow-action (B21) contact configuration and a VF KEYD8 universal separate actuator. When the monitored guard is opened and the actuator is withdrawn from the switch head, the positive-opening mechanism mechanically opens the safety contacts, enabling the connected safety system to initiate an appropriate machine stop or safety response.
With its durable technopolymer housing, M20 × 1.5 threaded conduit entry and protection ratings of IP67 according to EN 60529 and IP69K according to ISO 20653, the FR 2193-D8M2 is well suited to demanding industrial installations.
