Why Choose the Pizzato SR AD41AM0.1 Magnetic Safety Sensor?
The Pizzato SR AD41AM0.1 is a compact coded magnetic safety sensor designed for non-contact monitoring of guards, doors and protective covers on industrial machinery. Part of the Pizzato SR-A Series, it combines coded magnetic actuation with a versatile 1NO + 2NC contact configuration for integration into compatible machine safety systems.
The SR AD41AM0.1 uses Reed-contact magnetic sensing and is designed to operate with the appropriate Pizzato coded actuator. Its non-contact operating principle eliminates the need for mechanical insertion of an actuator into the sensor housing, helping minimise mechanical wear and making the sensor particularly suitable for frequently operated machine guards.
This version features a 0.1 m PVC cable terminating in an 8-pole M12 connector, with the connection exiting from the right-hand side of the technopolymer housing. The sensor itself is supplied without an actuator, allowing the matching actuator to be selected separately for the application.
Key Advantages
- Reliable coded magnetic non-contact guard monitoring.
- 1NO + 2NC contacts with the protective guard closed.
- Short 0.1 m PVC cable with 8-pole M12 connector simplifies connection to machinery wiring.
- Right-hand connection arrangement for defined installation orientation.
- Non-contact operation reduces mechanical wear during frequent guard movements.
- Compact technopolymer housing for integration into industrial machinery.

Reliable Non-Contact Guard Monitoring
Coded magnetic safety sensors provide guard position monitoring without requiring direct mechanical contact between the sensor and actuator. When the corresponding coded actuator is correctly positioned within the sensor's operating range, the Reed contacts change state so that the condition of the protective guard can be evaluated by a compatible safety control system.
The Pizzato SR-A Series is well suited to industrial machinery where frequent guard movements, contamination or limited installation space can make conventional mechanically actuated switches less practical. The SR AD41AM0.1 also provides a convenient M12 connection, simplifying sensor replacement and machine wiring compared with permanently terminated field cabling.
