Why Choose the Pizzato ST GD310H10-G1T Safety Sensor?

The Pizzato ST GD310H10-G1T is a compact RFID non-contact safety sensor with high-level coded actuator from the Pizzato ST G series, designed for reliable monitoring of movable guards, safety doors and access points on industrial machinery. Its RFID operating principle provides coded guard detection without mechanical contact, reducing mechanical wear while supporting dependable safety switching in frequently operated applications.

The GD310 configuration provides two safety inputs IS1–IS2, two safety outputs OS1–OS2 and one O3 signalling output. The safety inputs allow compatible ST devices to be interconnected within a safety chain, while the redundant safety outputs communicate the resulting safety state to a suitable safety module or safety PLC.

Operating from a 24 V DC supply, the ST GD310H10-G1T uses a PUR cable connection and is supplied with the G1T high-level coded RFID actuator. The actuator provides an 11 mm actuation distance with a compact 37 × 26 × 18 mm design and lateral fixing, while IP67 / IP69K protection supports installation in demanding industrial environments.

Key Advantages

  • Compact RFID non-contact safety sensor for industrial machine guarding.
  • High-level coded G1T actuator provides enhanced protection against inappropriate actuator substitution.
  • Two safety inputs IS1–IS2 support compatible series-connected safety architectures.
  • Two safety outputs OS1–OS2 provide redundant electronic safety-state signalling.
  • Dedicated O3 signalling output supports machine status monitoring and diagnostics.
  • PUR cable connection provides a durable wiring solution for industrial machinery.
  • 11 mm actuation distance provides useful tolerance for guard alignment and movement.
  • IP67 / IP69K protection supports operation in demanding industrial environments.

High-Level RFID Guard Monitoring for Series-Connected Safety Systems

The Pizzato ST GD310H10-G1T monitors movable machine guards without requiring mechanical engagement between the sensor and actuator. When the associated G1T high-level coded RFID actuator enters the sensor's operating zone, the sensor evaluates its unique coding and communicates the resulting guard state through the redundant OS1–OS2 safety outputs to compatible safety equipment.

Unlike simpler configurations without safety inputs, the GD310 also incorporates IS1–IS2 safety inputs. These allow compatible safety devices to be interconnected so that upstream safety information can be incorporated into the safety chain. ST series sensors can be connected to suitable safety modules or safety PLCs with OSSD inputs, providing a flexible architecture for machinery with multiple monitored guards.

Typical Applications

  • Industrial machine guard doors and access panels.
  • Series-connected machine safety architectures.
  • Packaging and processing machinery.
  • Automated production and assembly equipment.
  • Robot cells and automated manufacturing systems.
  • Machinery requiring high-level coded RFID guard monitoring.
