Product Overview
The Pizzato ST HD420N5-H1T is an electronic RFID safety sensor from the Pizzato ST H series, designed for non-contact monitoring of machine guards, safety doors and protective access points. The H1T actuator configuration provides a high coding level, supporting safety interlocking applications where enhanced protection against actuator substitution is required.
The ST HD420N5-H1T operates from a 24 V DC supply and provides two IS1–IS2 safety inputs, two OS1–OS2 safety outputs, one O3 signalling output and one I3 programming input. The N5 version uses a fixed PVC cable connection, while the H-format actuator provides an 11 mm actuation distance and lateral fixing.
Key Advantages
- High-level RFID coding: Provides coded actuator recognition for enhanced protection against inappropriate actuator substitution.
- Non-contact operation: RFID sensing avoids mechanical switching contact between the sensor and actuator, reducing wear.
- Dual safety channels: Two safety inputs and two safety outputs support integration into advanced machine-safety systems.
- Programming functionality: Includes an I3 programming input as part of the HD420 configuration.
- Fixed cable connection: The N5 configuration provides a PVC cable for direct machine wiring.
- High safety capability: ST H safety sensors are suitable for safety functions up to SIL 3 and PL e when correctly integrated into the safety system.
