The Carlo Gavazzi VT2 is a reliable conductive liquid level probe designed for accurate point-level monitoring of electrically conductive liquids in industrial tanks, vessels and process systems. Featuring two 1 m AISI 316 stainless steel electrodes, the VT2 provides a durable sensing solution for liquid level control applications.
The VT2 uses conductive sensing technology, where the stainless steel electrodes detect the presence of liquid by measuring electrical conductivity. When connected to a compatible Carlo Gavazzi level control amplifier or relay, it can be used for maximum and minimum level detection, pump control, filling, draining and alarm functions.
Designed for industrial process applications, the VT2 combines robust AISI 316 stainless steel electrodes, a durable PTFE housing, a 1½-inch threaded process connection and a 1 m silicone cable. The absence of moving parts provides dependable operation with reduced maintenance requirements.
Conductive level probes operate by using the electrical conductivity of the monitored liquid to identify when a specific level has been reached. When liquid contacts the electrodes, a compatible controller detects the change in conductivity and switches the connected control circuit according to the selected operating mode.
