The Carlo Gavazzi VTI1 is a robust conductive level probe designed for reliable level detection of electrically conductive liquids in industrial tanks, vessels and process systems. As part of the Carlo Gavazzi VT/VTI level sensor series, it is suitable for maximum and minimum level control in filling, charging and discharging applications when connected to a compatible amplifier relay.
The VTI1 incorporates a single AISI 316 stainless steel electrode with PTFE insulation, providing excellent resistance to chemicals and making the probe suitable for demanding process environments. The standard electrode is 1,000 mm long and Ø5 mm in diameter and can be shortened to establish the required detection level for the application.
With a PTFE housing, 1½-inch ISO 228-1 pipe thread, 1 m silicone cable and IP67 protection, the VTI1 provides a durable installation for industrial liquid-level monitoring. The probe operates at temperatures from 0 to +145 °C and is rated for pressure up to 4 bar at 143 °C.
