The Lovato BFX3401 is a purpose-designed rigid connection kit for three-pole reversing contactor assemblies. Developed for compatible Lovato BF95 through BF150 contactors, it provides the power connections required when two contactors are installed side by side to create a reversing motor starter.
The BFX3401 simplifies the construction of forward and reverse contactor assemblies by providing pre-engineered rigid connections instead of individually fabricated wiring links. This helps produce a neat, consistent and reliable installation while reducing panel wiring and assembly work in industrial motor control applications.
Designed for use with BF95, BF115 and BF150 three-pole contactors, the BFX3401 is intended for side-by-side assemblies incorporating the Lovato BFX5403 mechanical interlock. The kit is suitable for industrial reversing circuits and has a 600 V AC UL rated operational voltage.
Reversing contactor assemblies use two contactors to change the phase sequence supplied to a three-phase motor, allowing the direction of rotation to be reversed.
