The Lovato ADXT0230 is an advanced three-phase soft starter designed for progressive starting and stopping of three-phase asynchronous motors in standard and heavy-duty industrial applications. As part of the Lovato ADXT soft starter series, it combines three-phase control, an integrated bypass relay and comprehensive motor-management functionality for demanding machinery and automation systems.
With a rated starter current of 230 A and a wide operational voltage range of 380–690 V AC, the ADXT0230 provides controlled acceleration while reducing the electrical and mechanical stresses associated with direct-on-line starting. Three-phase control maintains balanced motor currents and supports the high starting torque required by high-inertia loads such as crushers, conveyors, compressors, centrifuges and mills.
The ADXT0230 accepts 110–120 V AC or 220–240 V AC auxiliary supplies and supports both conventional in-line and inside-delta connections. It is rated for 132 kW in-line at 400 V AC or 160 kW inside-delta at 400 V AC, while its built-in bypass reduces heat generation and power dissipation once the starting ramp has been completed.

High-Performance Starting for Heavy Industrial Loads
Soft starters progressively control the voltage and current supplied to an electric motor during acceleration, reducing electrical current peaks and mechanical shock compared with direct-on-line starting. The ADXT series controls all three motor phases, maintaining balanced currents and providing the high starting torque required to overcome the inertia of demanding industrial loads.
The ADXT0230 incorporates a bypass relay that deactivates the power thyristors after the starting ramp is complete, reducing energy consumption, heat generation and power dissipation during continuous operation. Its support for both in-line and inside-delta configurations also provides flexibility when designing high-power industrial motor-control systems.
Typical Applications
Crushers, mills and shredders.
Vertical and inclined conveyor systems.
Large industrial fans and ventilation equipment.
Screw compressors and process machinery.
Centrifuges and other high-inertia equipment.
Heavy-duty OEM machinery and industrial automation systems.
