The Cembre 2180120, also designated as the Cembre A3-M5/9, is a professional non-insulated narrow-palm copper compression ring terminal designed to terminate 16 mm² copper conductors onto M5 threaded studs. As part of the specialist Cembre A-M contained-palm terminal series, it is specifically developed for low-voltage circuit breakers and other electrical equipment with reduced-space terminal blocks.
Manufactured from annealed electrolytic copper tube with a purity above 99.95%, the Cembre A3-M5/9 provides excellent electrical conductivity and the ductility required for dependable compression crimping. Its electrolytic tin-plated finish helps protect the copper against oxidation and corrosion, supporting reliable long-term performance in industrial control panels, switchgear and power distribution assemblies.
The terminal combines a 16 mm² conductor capacity with a compact 9 mm palm width, allowing easier installation where conventional cable lugs are too wide.
