The Lovato GX1612U is a GX series motor starting switch designed for reliable star-delta starting of motors. This rotary cam switch delivers a 16 A Ith rating with robust IP65 frontal protection. Supplied for front mounting with a black handle and 48×48 mm front plate, the GX1612U features GX16 product designation and square-shaped contact block architecture for compact, panel-friendly installation.
Switching diagram 12 enables classic star–delta sequencing, with a rated impulse withstand voltage Uimp of 6 kV for high transient resilience. Operating temperature spans -25 to +55 °C, with IP65 protection at the front. Conforms to IEC/EN/BS 60947-1, -3, -5-1 and 61058-1, plus UL and CSA standards, supporting compliant industrial control designs.
