Designed for dependable motor control, the Lovato GX4012U rotary cam motor starting switch delivers star-delta functionality in a compact GX series format. With an IEC conventional free air thermal current of 40 A and front mounting with black handle, it suits panel installations using a 65 x 65 mm front plate. The GX40 designation and square-shaped contact block support robust, repeatable switching for industrial applications.
Engineered to withstand demanding environments, the switch offers IP65 frontal protection and a rated impulse withstand voltage of 6 kV, operating reliably from −25 to +55 °C. Compliant with IEC/EN/BS 60947 series, IEC/EN/BS 61058-1, UL60947-4-1 and CSA C22.2 n° 14, it integrates neatly into control panels for safe, consistent star-delta motor starting.
