As an AC accessory with Ith 80 A, it offers Ui 1000 V and Uimp 8 kV capability. SKU GAX42080A integrates neatly with GA…A versions and supports AC21A, AC22A and AC23A duties, providing reliable performance with a robust mechanical and electrical life rated to 30,000 cycles.
Engineered for demanding installations, the GAX42 add‑on operates from −25 to +55 °C and stores from −40 to +70 °C, at altitudes up to 3000 m with pollution degree 3. Terminals accept 4–70 mm² conductors and tighten to 5–6 Nm. High switching capability includes 80 A AC23A at 400 V with 800 A making capacity. Conformity includes IEC/EN 60947-3, IEC/EN 60947-1, UL508, UL98 and CSA C22.2.
