ABB CM-ESS.2S voltage monitoring relay 1SVR730831R0400 with a 110–130 V AC control supply, selectable 3–600 V RMS measuring ranges, configurable overvoltage or undervoltage monitoring, adjustable tripping delay and two changeover output contacts.
£193.74
The ABB CM-ESS.2S is a compact and reliable single-phase voltage monitoring relay designed for overvoltage or undervoltage supervision in industrial control and automation systems. With ABB order code 1SVR730831R0400, this CM-ESS series relay operates with a rated control supply voltage of 110–130 V AC and provides flexible RMS monitoring of AC and DC voltages.
The CM-ESS.2S provides four selectable measuring ranges covering 3–30 V, 6–60 V, 30–300 V and 60–600 V. It can be configured for either overvoltage or undervoltage monitoring, with adjustable hysteresis from 3–30% of the threshold value and an adjustable tripping delay from instantaneous operation to 30 s.
Two changeover (SPDT) output contacts, each with contacts rated at 250 V / 4 A, provide flexible integration with contactors, PLC inputs, alarms and other control circuits. Screw connection technology with double-chamber cage terminals and a compact 22.5 mm housing make the CM-ESS.2S particularly suitable for DIN-rail installation in industrial control panels.
Voltage monitoring relays help protect electrical equipment and automated processes against voltage conditions outside acceptable operating limits. The ABB CM-ESS.2S can be configured to detect either excessive or insufficient voltage and operate its two changeover outputs when the selected threshold and timing conditions are reached.
Its four measuring ranges provide flexibility for applications ranging from low-voltage control circuits through to systems requiring monitoring up to 600 V. Adjustable hysteresis helps prevent unwanted relay cycling around the switching threshold, while the adjustable tripping delay can prevent brief voltage disturbances from unnecessarily interrupting machinery or processes.
