The Cembre 9.BD0N is a premium Type B blank cable entry grommet designed for the Cembre EWO split cable entry system. It is used to seal unused Type B module positions, helping maintain the enclosure's IP66 ingress protection while providing a neat, professional finish for industrial control panels, machinery and automation systems.
Manufactured from durable thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), the 9.BD0N clips securely into compatible EWO cable entry frames. It enables machine builders and panel manufacturers to future-proof installations by blanking spare cable entry positions until additional cables are required.
Its modular Type B design allows the blank insert to be quickly replaced with a compatible drilled Type B grommet whenever new cables need to be installed, without modifying the original enclosure cut-out. This simplifies maintenance, upgrades and phased machine installations.
