The DK7968.035 is designed to introduce cooling airflow from the roof area without occupying the entire enclosure roof. Because the fan mounting plate is positioned towards the front, the rear section remains free for cable entry, helping installers combine thermal management and structured cabling within the same roof configuration.
Installation options include a solid roof plate raised by 20 or 50 mm spacers, a raised roof plate for cable entry, or a ventilated roof plate for cable entry. The standard two-fan configuration can also be expanded using the Rittal DK7980.000 kit when additional airflow is required. The mounting plate is not designed for use with a 482.6 mm (19-inch) mounting frame and is not suitable for crane transportation.
