The nVent HOFFMAN MPW1812 is an extra-wide mounting plate for floor-standing electrical enclosures, designed to create an installation surface across the full nominal width of a compatible enclosure. As part of the nVent HOFFMAN MPW wide mounting plate series, it provides increased mounting space for electrical, control and automation components in industrial enclosure systems.
The MPW design supports efficient panel building by allowing the mounting plate to be fully equipped with components before it is installed inside the enclosure. Installation is carried out from the side using compatible MTS sliding profiles. When multiple enclosures are combined, compatible MPW plates can also be connected and slid into position as a continuous installation surface.
Designed for 1800 mm high × 1200 mm wide enclosures, the MPW1812 has actual plate dimensions of approximately 1694 mm × 1199 mm × 25 mm. It is manufactured from durable 3 mm galvanised mild steel, providing a robust mounting surface for demanding industrial electrical and automation installations.
Wide mounting plates provide a secure internal surface for installing electrical and automation equipment such as control components, power distribution devices, terminal assemblies and associated wiring hardware. The MPW system is intended for compatible combinable enclosures and cannot be mounted in the rearmost position.
