The nVent HOFFMAN MPAL2008 is a lightweight and corrosion-resistant aluminium mounting plate designed for installing electrical, control and automation components inside compatible floor-standing enclosures. As part of the nVent HOFFMAN MPAL aluminium mounting plate series, it provides a durable internal mounting surface for switchgear, motor control equipment, variable frequency drives, terminals, PLC hardware and other industrial electrical components.
Designed for compatible enclosures with nominal dimensions of 2000 mm high × 800 mm wide, the MPAL2008 has actual mounting plate dimensions of 1894 mm high × 694 mm wide and an overall depth of 24 mm. It is manufactured from 3 mm Aluminium AlMg3, providing a strong yet lightweight alternative to conventional steel mounting plates.
