The nVent HOFFMAN MTS600 is a set of robust transversal sliding profiles for wide mounting plates, designed for use within compatible nVent HOFFMAN floor-standing electrical enclosures. As part of the nVent HOFFMAN MTS sliding profile series, the profiles allow a fully equipped wide mounting plate to be conveniently inserted into the enclosure from the side before being securely fixed into position.
Manufactured from 3 mm zinc-plated mild steel, the MTS600 provides a strong and durable support arrangement for mounting plates in industrial control and automation enclosures. The profiles are adjustable in depth in 25 mm steps, allowing the mounting plate position to be adapted to suit the equipment layout and available enclosure depth.
Designed for 600 mm wide enclosures, each MTS600 profile measures approximately 52 mm high, 600 mm wide and 68 mm deep. The profiles are also compatible with optional MTS01W rollers, which can reduce friction and make it easier to insert heavily equipped mounting plates into the enclosure.
Wide mounting plates can be larger than the front opening of a floor-standing enclosure, making conventional front installation impractical. Transversal sliding profiles solve this problem by allowing the mounting plate to be fully equipped outside the enclosure and then inserted conveniently from the side before being fixed securely into position.
The nVent HOFFMAN MTS system also provides flexible depth adjustment to accommodate different component layouts. When handling heavily equipped mounting plates, optional MTS01W rollers can be used to reduce friction between surfaces, helping make insertion easier and improving installation efficiency.
